Other Associations
Walworth County Cemetery Association. President Dan Kilkenny. This society is not genealogical oriented. but is interested in preserving and cataloging cemeteries in cooperation with the Burial Sites Preservation Board of WI.
Seventh Day Baptist Historical Society Library serves as a central depository and archives of the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference, USA and Canada, and related agencies. Over 3,000 volumes of books and periodicals are catalogued. There is a wealth of non-demoninational biographical and genealogical material relating to RI, NJ, NY, PA, WI, and WV. There are lots of photographs, microfilms and manuscripts along with church records. The Seventh Day Baptist's were instrumental in establishing the Walworth village. The Historical Society Library is located in Janesville, Rock County, WI at 3120 N. Kennedy Road. Please phone ahead for an appointment at 608-752-5055.
